Just some random characters.

I’ve been kind of fascinated by portraits of European ladies for a while after making that Elsa picture, so somehow I ended up painting two more members of the Disney monarchy, barely resembling their original selves. I did a bit more research for these, though I’m far more satisfied with the plainer (and later drawn) Belle one than Ariel.

Reception for “The Flight” has been absolutely lovely so far! Thanks a lot everyone!
Here’s a small illustration of the characters, Lisa (sitting) and Carlie. (They needed names so I could explain stuff about the film) Haven’t drawn them in months…

After many delays, my graduation film. It’s about two best friends who explore a city floating in the air, where an unexpected discovery puts their friendship to the test. If you liked, comment, like, reblog, whatever, it would be highly appreciated. :)

It’s Elsa from Frozen in her coronation dress. Doesn’t look much like her though…
I’m trying to practice painting with a “classical” look. Changed her outfit a bit to fit the style.
I liked Frozen, even though it was only available here in 3D which ruined it a bit. Elsa needed more screen time, the trolls were awful, and the film kind of forgot it’s a musical at some point, but otherwise it was pretty good.

Sooooort of a TES fanart. (or just a generic fantasy picture with a jaundiced elf)
With TESO coming out there’s been some talk about how some places should or shouldn’t look like. This is my (meh) attempt at drawing a city on the Summerset Isles based on the descriptions you can find ingame/in the wiki. I’m thinking of drawing other interesting TES locations, so if anyone has a request I’m all ears.
The high elf lady is probably giving you a quest that involves going into some damn cave.

growingtumbles asked: Hey, Just started reading Strange Investigations on smackjeeves and following you on tumblr, how can I see that film you did? What i've seen on your tumblr looks great and I really wanna see your film.

I’ll post the film here soon enough, once I have new sound for it. Hopefully some time in September or October.

A Telvanni town in Morrowind, sort of. Not any particular one. I really like the atmosphere and world of this game.

scythelliot asked: Hey, I just wanted to know if you're planning on continuing Stange Investigations? It's just super-wonderful and I really enjoy it :P and are you planning to print it? I think it'd look awesome in a book! Also, I adored your film and your general animation work is brilliant, I look forward to seeing more of it!

Hey, thanks for the compliments! Glad you like my stuff. :D

Generally I want to continue SI soon, but I’ve kind of been putting it off until I know better what I’m gonna do about work and all.  I just graduated school and it’s a bit of a confusing time…

At any rate, if I will continue it I’d want to do it properly and build a website, something I haven’t done before and have to learn how to do, yikes. Then maybe I’d print it if there’s a demand… But I gotta start working on it again first.. :)

So I’m pretty much done with school. It’s so weird!

Reception to the film has been overall positive, though one teacher started going on and on about how the whole film is a phallic metaphor or something. To quote him, the film is about “two women in a world of phalluses”. Yup. New name for the blog?

sergeantsquid asked: If all the work you've posted thus far is telling of how the final product, the film, is then it has got to be amazing! I'm excited to see it, but I understand waiting and doing touch ups and all. I am currently working on a little animated show and I always stumble back to your page for inspiration and encouragement. You're awesome and so is your work, keep it up and stay cool! Seeya!

Thanks a lot!! I hope you’ll like the final product.  It’s great to hear I’m an inspiration to someone, even though I’m barely inspired myself, lol.  Good luck with the show!
